If you are anything like me, you can’t wait for hoodie weather, campfires, and Fall in general. Here are some great Cheap Fall Activities to keep the season fun.
Pumpkin Patch
The top of my list has always been the pumpkin patch. I can remember it being one of my favorite school field trips. For a small fee, you are able to look around the patch, take pictures, enjoy arts and crafts. The best part for me though was being able to pick out my very own pumpkin and bring it home. And of course, the fun would continue when you get home.

Being able to have a pumpkin, you are able to carve it or paint it. Or if you like seeds, roasting your own pumpkin seeds was always fun. My favorite part though, making a mess with all of the guts. Alright, so from one fruit to another.
Apple Pickin’
Apple picking is the next on my list. Not only am I a fan of apples, but I also love being able to go out and pick them myself. It gives me a chance to be outdoors enjoying the weather, great company, and great benefits. Most farms will set a flat rate for a bucket of apples, and it gives you access to the farm for hours. The farms usually have other apple-based products for sale. Things such as apple cider, apple pie, some even have apple butter and apple sauce. But the fun doesn’t stop just because you leave.

When you bring your apple haul home, there are so many things you can do. Especially if you do not want to pay for any of the apple-based products. You can make them yourself! Apple butter is so simple to do. You can now do it in the crockpot with ease. There is also Apple Pie, Apple chips, Apple sauce, Apple juice and so many more.
Hayrides and Corn Mazes
Next on the list is hayrides and corn mazes. Corn mazes can be a ton of fun. I loved going in just as the sun was setting. It made it more of a challenge to find my way through it. And of course, can’t forget the occasional shenanigans. Yes, I use to be that brat teenager who would scare as many people as I could in the corn maze. To me, it was harmless fun. But I suppose karma has found a way to get even with me. I hate people attempting or even worse being successful at scaring me.

Now, the hayrides, I always try to get at least one ride in every fall. It is so peaceful and relaxing. More of a time to center and wind down. Most rides, even in a bigger city, find roads and trails that are quiet and “off the beaten path” which gives an allure all its own.

Hot Air Balloon
Continuing off the beaten path, next on the list is for the thrill-seekers! Although this last one is not as cheap, it was worth throwing in. Fall has always been a great time to partake in a hot air balloon ride, may it be your first time, or you are a veteran. Being able to see everything from such a breathtaking view, gives you the ability to put a whole new perspective on things while you relax.

Fall is such a wonderful time of year. It gives us a chance to do more outside and enjoy time with friends and family. If you have any cheap fall activities or would like to share pictures or stories, drop them in a comment below.
